KTK-Fujikura & Commuture, Japan: Distance Learning

LST is the pioneer in the videoconferencing in the country and we have always been proud to have highly skilled engineers available to our clients. LST was contracted by KTK-Fujikura, the project developer, for their "Distance Learning" project, which was funded by JICA of Japan. The project covered Data/Video and Video integration, wherein LST was contracted to the video integration with the various vendors providing audio (Panasonic) and Plasma Screen (NEC). Because of the skills of our engineers, LST volunteered its services to assist in the integration of data and the interface with the service providers such as NTT (Japan) and PLDT (Philippines).

With the successful completion of the project, students from the University of the Philippines are equipped with such an infrastructure thereby allowing them to communicate with their counterpart students from Japan using data, voice and video, thus enhancing their education.
