Visual UpTime |
Visual UpTimeŽ, widely acknowledged as the industry's leading WAN
performance management solution, integrates expert monitoring capabilities
with access equipment to fully automate the collection, interpretation and
presentation of performance management data. A series of intuitive applications
provide detailed remote real-time troubleshooting, performance monitoring,
service level validation, and performance reporting for IP, frame relay, ATM,
and private line connections. Visual UpTime also provides in-depth traffic
capture and protocol analysis across the entire wide area network.
By continuously measuring second-by-second usage levels for every
monitored port and virtual circuit, Visual UpTime can automatically make
informed recommendations on bandwidth allocation by specific location with
its detailed picture of circuit performance. This enables network managers
to create overview reports of the most- and least-utilized circuits across
the network, then allocate bandwidth as appropriate -- providing sufficient
bandwidth to ensure mission-critical applications get through, without over-provisioning
bandwidth and exceeding WAN budgets. |
IP InSight |
Visual IP InSight provides the most comprehensive IP
service management
Visual IP InSight TM is an IP service management system designed
to help service providers and enterprises manage IP connectivity and
accessibility to IP network services from the end-user perspective.
Visual IP InSight helps manage IP connectivity across all IP access
technologies, including dial, dedicated, broadband (DSL, wireless, cable, ISDN),
and VPN connections. Additionally, Visual IP InSight allows users to manage
accessibility to IP network services, such as Web, news, DNS, and mail.
The Visual IP InSight product architecture consists of three major components.
The Agents come in both a hardware and software form. The software agent, which
resides on the end-user desktop, is transport agnostic (dial, DSL, VPN, etc)
and collects performance information on end user connection experiences. The
dedicated agent, called the Visual IP Service Element (Visual ISETM), resides
on the LAN side of the customer router (or within the service provider core)
and manages the site-to-site and site-to-cloud performance of dedicated IP
and IP VPN services. The back-end system collects, processes and reports on
data from the agents. The Web-based interface consists of two applications-Service
Level Manager and Customer Care-which allows easy viewing and reporting of key IP
performance information. |
